The Nines, an elite group of vampires, was established to stand as protection for their race. Fractured by centuries of betrayal and loss, the group is now little more than myth, its remaining members scarred and shattered. Taris, the oldest living vampire, is no stranger to loss and heartbreak. He is all that holds the Nines together as they struggle to save themselves from total extinction. Enter the beautiful and brilliant Dr. Sarah Bridgeman, whose medical research has resulted in a breakthrough for both humans and vampires. Her work may be the salvation this weary band of guardians has been looking for. Taris needs to reach Sarah and enlist her help before those aligned against him can act. Can a vampire king convince a stunning young scientist to save a species that isn’t even supposed to exist? For now, only one thing is certain: no science can explain the explosive chemistry between them. Chaos and Moonlight is the first installment in the Order of the Nines series, and is A. D. When a natural disaster strikes, one imposing obstacle always impedes recovery: the need to rebuild. Not just homes, schools, and other buildings but also lives must be reconstructed. Yet amid the horror there is also the opportunity to build back better, to create more resilient buildings and deeper human connections. After Haiti’s 2010 earthquake, architect Paul E. Fallon wanted to help rebuild the magic island he had visited the previous summer. Over the next three years, he made seventeen trips to design and supervise construction of an orphanage and a school in Grand Goâve. In the process, he confronted the challenges of building in a country with sparse materials and with laborers predisposed toward magic over physics. Architecture by Moonlight is about much more than construction, however. Readers will also experience the many relationships Fallon developed as he balanced the contradictory demands of a boisterous American family constructing a memorial for their deceased daughter and Evangelical missionaries more interested in saving souls than filling bellies. Dieunison, a wily Haitian orphan, captured Fallon’s heart and exemplifies both Haiti’s tragedy and its indomitable spirit. Fallon’s personal experience is an eloquent tale of “an ensemble of incomplete people struggling in a land of great trial and great promise, trying to better understand their place on Earth.” He reveals how, when seemingly different people come together, we succeed by seeking our commonality. Architecture by Moonlight illustrates our strength to rise above disaster and celebrate recovery, perseverance, and humanity.

Ten years passes and Loomis comes back to the prison, along with other beings from hell, but the prison had been replaced by a shopping centre in which there are people locked in their that night. About the AuthorGeorge Sargent, born 1987 was a user of the early intervention team in Rotherham. Nearly four years ago George was diagnosed with schizophrenia and recently he was diagnosed with possible bipolar disorder. Also, about six months ago George was diagnosed with social anxiety, which stopped him going out and meeting new people a lot. He got the inspiration for this book while under the care of the early intervention team about a year ago on one of the rare days that he was able to go out of the house and wrote parts of the book as often as he could. It really helped to get his concentration back, to relax and to express himself in a new way. It has also helped him to get an idea for a second book as a continuation of this one and a third book which could be about his life and experiences before and during his psychosis. This book will hopefully show people that a person with mental disorders is just like anyone without one.

Crystallizing Chaos is a wryly comic tale of balancing academia with action and replacing footnotes with a sense of fun. A high-brow college student, Daniel Coventry, hopes to be a writer. He encounters the forgotten but immensely gifted pulp novelist Stephen Chidley, who wrote action-oriented novels by the dozens in a month apiece while living his adventures. He is also inspired by the novelists granddaughter Dora, who resides in Stephens home near Daniels dorm. Through Daniel, they become entangled with his best professor, Cynthia Schuler, an outspoken feminist and scholar. Cynthia also wrangles with her chauvinist, unfaithful husband and has fallen for her favorite student after many rounds of lovemaking in her office. Each of them confronts the fear of failure. Daniel is afraid of flunking if he cant complete a novel for his graduation. Stephen is afraid thathe abused his fabulous storytelling talents as a pulp writer who came close to greatness only in a single memorable novel. Dora is afraid of any loss of independence. Cynthia is afraid of failing Daniel and of losing him to Dora. Step by comic misstep, they confront their differences and the chasm that divides the ivory tower from popular culture. With a month remaining, they decide that only one solution will enable Daniel to begin his book and race to finish it in time forgraduation: Let him crystallize the chaos of their year-long battle in a way that blends the best of academia and action!

The moonlight sliced into the alleyway as twenty-one-year-old Kirk Miller opened his eyes and stared at the night sky. His head throbbed as the world spun gently. The cold, hard cement felt oddly soothing, but even with all the alcohol and drugs flowing through his veins, Kirk’s mind was still racing. It would be a year until he was told that those feelings were related to what professionals called a manic episode. Welcome to the world of bipolar disorder. It is no secret that bipolar disorder is one of the most misunderstood and devastating mental disorders for the diagnosed and those who care for them. But what if there were a cure? In his compelling memoir, Miller details how he was diagnosed with the most severe form of bipolar disorder, was told he would never lead a normal life, and eventually refused to accept his fate. As he began a determined search for answers through research, educated guesses, and risks that nearly cost him his life, Miller shares how he stumbled onto a new method of treating his disorder that, remarkably, helped him achieve a full recovery. Chaos to Cured shares the true story of one man’s courageous journey to finding a cure for bipolar disorder with the hope that everyone will one day have a second chance in life.
